Tommy Bye
Tommy is a native Texan born into a West Texas ranching family. He graduated from Sewanee Military Academy (University of the South). After graduation he worked on ranches in Texas and was also an amatuer bill rider. He joined the Army and was assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division in Viet Nam. It was during The Battle of Khe Sanh in 1968 that the bunker Tommy was in took a direct hit and, as he will tell you, he lost his life on that battlefield. It wasn’t until nearly 20 years later that Tommy regained his life when he had a Damascus Road experience with the Lord. He later accepted a call to full time ministry and at age 48 was ordained. He now serves as Sr. Pastor of St. Luke’s in the Meadow Episcopal Church in Ft. Worth.
