Jim Lane
Jim Lane is Managing Partner of Devonwood Capital Partners. He is a Senior Advisor to Ripplewood Holdings LLC and Chairman of NanoHoldings LLC. Previously, Jim was Chairman and CEO of SG Capital Partners, the private equity business affiliated with Societe Generale and SG Cowen Securities. Prior to establishing SG Capital Partners, Jim’s career spanned nearly twenty years at Goldman Sachs & Co. where he was a General Partner and a founding member of the Firm’s global private equity business. Jim has a Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College and an MBA from Columbia University. He serves on several charitable boards including the Yale Center for Faith and Culture, The Trinity Forum, Wilberforce Forum (Prison Fellowship Ministries), and the New Canaan Society. Jim and his wife, Susie, live in New Canaan, CT, have three daughters, and a golden retriever, also a female. If you can get Jim to focus for any length of time, he will admit to suffering from a severe case of ADD.
